Yasamin Baktashian is a second-year law student at Southwestern Law School. Prior to law school, she earned her B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). At Southwestern, she serves on the boards of the Persian and Middle Eastern Law Student Association and the Business Law Society. She also serves as Internal Vice President of the National Iranian American Law Student Association (NIALSA), where she works closely with the Iranian American Bar Association to support Iranian American law students nationwide. She is particularly interested in employment and business law. She has gained hands-on experience as a law clerk in employment litigation and is currently serving as a judicial extern with the United States District Court to further develop her exposure across multiple areas of law.
