IABA currently has ten chapters, as identified below. Each chapter is led by a President who coordinates and oversees chapter operations. In addition, each chapter has a local board of directors responsible for planning and administering chapter activities, CLE programs, professional networking events, and an annual dinner and awards ceremony. Under IABA’s bylaws and policies, a new chapter may be established in any U.S. region once at least 10 attorney members in that region have enrolled with IABA, and a minimum of 5 attorney or student members have committed to serve on the chapter’s board, subject to additional requirements and IABA approval.
