Roz Kohan is a first-year law student at Loyola Law School. She recently graduated magna cum laude from UCLA with a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Iranian Studies. While at UCLA, Roz served as a JusticeCorps member, worked part-time, served as a Justice on the Undergraduate Student Association Judicial Board, and was President of the Pre-Law Transfer Society. Before starting law school, she published her first legal research article in Volume 22 of UCLA’s Undergraduate Law Journal about China’s use of advanced judicial technology and how they impact the right to a fair trial under international law. At Loyola, Roz serves as the 1L Representative for the Iranian Law Students Association and with L.E.A.D., an organization dedicated to increasing access to a legal career for underserved groups. In her free time, she teaches hot yoga and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
