I currently serve as an Tax Associate at Boutin Jones Inc., where I focus on delivering effective legal solutions in tax law and related areas. I previously served as a Judicial Law Clerk at the United States Tax Court, where I gained hands-on experience drafting legal opinions, preparing trial summaries, and analyzing intricate tax issues. These roles, alongside my LL.M. in Taxation from NYU and my tax coursework at University of the Pacific, have honed my ability to navigate nuanced IRC and Treasury regulations and provide effective counsel.

Outside of the legal world, I grew up in the Bay Area as a first generation Iranian-American. My parents moved to America during the late 1970’s/early 1980’s, and they brought with them the wealth of their culture, food, and language. I have a strong love and admiration of my culture, and I want to be the sort of mentor for the lawyers in my community that I lacked trying to navigate law school and particularly tax law.

In my spare time, you can catch my playing tennis, chess, or trying (and usually failing) at preparing my madarbozorg’s receipes.
