On June 26, 2018, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a ruling in Trump v. Hawaii on Presidential Proclamation 9645, also known as the Travel Ban. This CLE will cover the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision and what it means for the immigration cases of individuals impacted by the Proclamation from Libya, Iran, Somalia, Syria, Yemen, North Korea, and Venezuela. The CLE will also cover the so-called waiver scheme and best practices in trying to secure waivers for clients impacted by the ban. This CLE is geared towards practitioners representing individuals in cases impacted by the Supreme Court’s decision in Trump v. Hawaii.
