Golnoosh Hakimdavar

Golnoosh Hakimdavar is a professor of law and policy at Northeastern University in the Doctorate of Law and Policy program. She is also a rule of law expert, leading legal advancement projects in Afghanistan, Myanmar and Kosovo. Ms. Hakimdavar has held multiple academic roles including visiting scholar at Cornell Law School, senior legal fellow at the Max Planck Foundation and Dean of Academic Affairs at Stratford University. Dr. Hakimdavar has published a variety of articles. Her book on the legality of UN economic sanctions was published by Routledge in 2007.

Golnoosh holds a Ph.D. in law from the University of Turin, Faculty of Law, Italy, an LL.M. from Cornell Law School, and has received her MBA from Chapman University in California.  Prior to her legal career, Ms. Hakimdavar worked as a financial advisor at UBS and regional executive at a high tech manufacturing firm.
