IABA Resource: New USCIS Alien Registration Requirements

On February 25, 2025, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced enforcement of criminal penalties and a new USCIS Alien Registration Policy. The new registration requirement applies, with limited exceptions, to foreign nationals who have been present in the United States for 30 days or longer and were not fingerprinted or registered when applying for a U.S. visa.
