IABA Co-Sponsors Pars Equality Center Valentine Gala

Gala to Raise Funds for Legal Services to Protect Individuals of Iranian Origin

On February 12, 2011, the Pars Equality Center (Pars) will be hosting its first gala to fundraise for its efforts in protecting the rights and dignity of Iranian peoples in the United States.  The gala will takes place at Hotel Sofitel in Redwood City, CA and will feature performances from KamyR, DJ Arash, and radio host Hooman Khalili. 

IABA, as a co-sponsor of the event, has a table for 12 members.  Individuals interested in attending can purchase tickets (priced at $100) by contacting IABA at contact@iaba.us.  IABA highly encourages as many of you as possible to attend this important event.

Pars, formed by IABA Advisory Board Member Banafsheh Akhlaghi, is the first-and currently the only-organization of its kind dedicated solely to the protection of the rights and dignity of Iranian peoples in the United States. The mission of Pars is to engage the Iranian American community in reigniting the promise of the United States. With a non-partisan, non-adversarial approach, Pars raises public awareness and amplifies Iranian American perspectives in law, policy, and the media.
