Layla Glassman
Layla Ilbak Glassman is a Deputy District Attorney at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. She has over a decade of experience prosecuting misdemeanor and felony cases in courthouses across Los Angeles County in El Monte, Downey, downtown, Compton, Airport and Inglewood. Before joining the LA DA’s Office, Layla began her legal career in Kern County where she was a prosecutor for 2 ½ years.
Layla is a frequent guest lecturer on criminal law matters at Loyola Law School and, as a passionate educator of juvenile justice, serves as a volunteer attorney for Teen Court, a juvenile diversion and prevention program in Los Angeles.
She graduated with a B.A. from USC and then attended Loyola Law School where she was a production editor on the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review and was a member on the Hobbs Trial Program. She and her husband, Robert, have two daughters.
