Saba Bagherzadeh is an international attorney specializing in economic sanctions, international commercial transactions, international financial crimes, and compliance. She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Fordham Law School, with a focus on corporate, banking, and financial law, as well as an additional concentration in corporate compliance. As a visiting scholar at Fordham Law School, she conducted research on the intersection of economic sanctions, national security, and humanitarian law.

Ms. Bagherzadeh is admitted to the New York State Bar and is affiliated with Zarkesh Legal P.C. in Washington D.C., where she focuses on U.S. economic sanctions, corporate compliance, and export control regulations. Before relocating to the United States, she spent over a decade practicing law in Iran, working in both law firms and academia, with a focus on corporate law, commercial transactions, and compliance.

Beyond her legal practice, Ms. Bagherzadeh has contributed to legislative initiatives such as the Legal Protection of Children at Risk and Legal Protection of Women’s Safety, collaborating with international organizations, including UNICEF and UNDP. Additionally, she has provided expert insights to global initiatives such as the World Bank and the World Justice Project.
