Daniel Kamkar
Fundraising Chair

Daniel A. Kamkar is a partner at Knobbe Martens, and whose practice focuses on worldwide patent prosecution and portfolio management, patent infringement and validity analyses, freedom to operate analyses, and general IP licensing. Daniel currently assists various clients in a wide range of technological fields including battery, automotive, pharmaceuticals, semiconductor and optics technologies. 

Daniel is currently the Fundraising Chair of the Iranian American Bar Association Northern California Chapter (IABA NorCal). Prior to moving to the Bay Area, he was involved with IABA’s San Diego Chapter for the past three years in various capacities. 

Daniel received his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law, M.S. in materials chemistry from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and B.S. in chemistry from the University of California, Irvine.
