Robert Abtahi is a Dallas attorney that represents clients in a variety of matters, with an emphasis on providing aggressive and efficient representation. He is a former Big Four international tax attorney and former Dallas Assistant City Attorney who left for private practice and started The Law Office of Robert B. Abtahi. He is committed to providing clients with smart, experienced and cost-effective legal representation. Mr. Abtahi received his undergraduate degree in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin and subsequently returned to his hometown of Dallas to obtain his J.D. from Southern Methodist University, Dedman School of Law. Mr. Abtahi is very active in the Dallas community through numerous charitable organizations and currently volunteers his time as an appointee to the Dallas City Plan Commission. Mr. Abtahi has authored numerous articles for The Dallas Morning News and in 2011 was published in the Journal of Law and Conflict Resolution for his review entitled, “Indirect expropriations in the jurisprudence of the Iran-United States Claims Tribunal.” In addition to the practice of law, Mr. Abtahi is an adjunct faculty member at Parker University, teaching courses in both law and business to doctoral candidates.
