Saiena Shafiezadeh is a staff attorney at NYC Commission on Human Rights. Prior to that, she was worked as a staff attorney at Citizenship Now and was an International Law Fellow at the American Society of International Law. During law school, she worked for the United Nations Secretariat, Honorable Judge Pamela McLean Meyerson, and Cook County Public Defender.

Saiena graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and International Studies. She graduated from The John Marshall Law School earning her Juris Doctor. Saiena was an active member of Moot Court Honor Society and Trial Advocacy teams in law school. She was also the President of International Law Society at John Marshall and served as Student Director on the IABA National Board.
