Sahmon Torabi is a patent attorney practicing at Dergosits & Noah LLP, a boutique firm based in San Francisco. He specializes in drafting and prosecuting patents in the electronic and computer arts, and advising clients on strategic patent portfolio management. Before joining Dergosits & Noah, Sahmon worked with several regional and national firms in Silicon Valley, where he also practiced patent litigation in addition to developing his practice in patent prosecution.

Since moving to San Francisco, Sahmon has been an active member of the local chapter of the National Iranian American Council and the San Francisco Intellectual Property association. Sahmon’s other interests include professional basketball (particularly the Warriors), playing tennis, and competitive video gaming.

Before practicing law, Sahmon received a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Vanderbilt University, and his Juris Doctor from Washington University in Saint Louis.
