Yasha Cyrus Rastegari was born and raised in Yorba Linda, California. He graduated from the University of California Riverside receiving a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Political Science in 2010. In 2014, Mr. Rastegari graduated from Southwestern University School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctor along with other Honors.
While at law school, Mr. Rastegari was the chair for the school’s award winning Negotiation Honors Program. He traveled the country competing in ABA Negotiation and Client Counseling competitions. He was also a recipient of the school’s honors scholarship in 2013 and 2014 respectively, and awarded “Best Analyst” by Southwestern’s Dean of Students in 2013.
After law school, Mr. Rastegari joined the Hartford, where he served as in-house counsel on all matters pertaining to Workers Compensation Defense. While at the Hartford, Mr. Rastegari appeared extensively in the Los Angeles County venues and conducted numerous depositions, hearings and trials. He currently serves as an associate attorney at Coleman Chavez, a statewide workers compensation defense firm.
When away from work Mr. Rastegari enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors. He enjoys hiking, exploring new foods, and learning new languages.
